HIV National Testing Day

According to CDC more than 1.2 million people living with HIV in the United States and approximately one in every eight do not know they are infected. National HIV Testing Day (NHTD) is held  to encourage people to get tested for HIV and to know their status. By testing and linking people with HIV to adequate medical care, we could prevent new infections. HIV testing is a powerful tool for people with HIV to know their status, manage to get medical care, have better quality of life, and reduce the HIV transmission.
